How the commission is calculated
Sales teams are built as a hierarchy, with managers and members. Each agent gets their own commission on the invoices they sell, and the manager gets an extra commission on the sales of the members of their own team. Commission rules have target thresholds: when the agent reaches the target, the bonus applies retroactively to all the invoices of the period, not only to those after the threshold.
You choose the calculation period to match the way you pay your agents: per invoice, daily, monthly or for a date range. Commissions are calculated from the sales invoices, so they are not collected from each agent’s Excel sheets and not recounted at the end of the month.
Team performance
The performance dashboard ranks agents by sales, commission or number of invoices, and the report exports for the payment or for the team meeting. The invoices the commission is calculated on come from sales and purchasing, with the price levels and discounts you have set for your customers.
When the commission is paid to an employee together with the salary, it is part of the gross salary; you see the net amount they are left with in the gross to net salary calculator.
