What the module does

All of it is in the product today.

  • The cashier works in a separate point of sale interface: picks the item from categories with images, searches for it or scans its barcode.
  • The till is opened, closed and declared with a full trail for each cashier.
  • Payments are split across several methods, you work with discount coupons and you print in A4 format.
  • We link point of sale invoices directly to the accounts and to the warehouse.

A day at the till

The cashier opens the till at the start of the shift and works in the point of sale interface, separate from the rest of the program. The item is picked from categories with images, searched for by name or scanned by its barcode. The payment is split when the customer pays in more than one way, discount coupons are applied on the same sale, and the document can also be printed in A4 format.

At the end of the shift the cashier closes and declares the till. Every opening, closing and declaration is saved with the cashier’s name, so a cash difference is traced to the shift where it happened, not found at the end of the month.

The sale goes into the warehouse and the accounts on its own

Point of sale invoices are not exported or re-entered: they are linked directly to the warehouse, so that stock goes down with every sale, and to the accounts. Invoices are fiscalized through devPOS. How fiscalization works is explained in the 2026 fiscalization guide, and what you need for it in the electronic certificate for fiscalization (in Albanian).

Some businesses must have a POS/POI terminal for card payments by 31 December 2026; who is required and who is exempt is in POS/POI and fiscalization (in Albanian). For bars, cafes and restaurants see software for restaurants and bars, and for shops software for shops and markets.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Questions about the Cash desk and point of sale module.

  • Can I import data from devPOS?

Yes. The master records, purchase invoices, sales invoices and the accompanying documents for warehouse movements come over from devPOS automatically. The integration works in both directions through a webhook, so an invoice issued in devPOS appears in devBooks without being imported by hand.
